Challah French Toast With Strawberries & Nutella

This recipe was so easy easy easy and delicious and is my new go-to for brunches on late weekend mornings. Taken from Grilled Cheese Social and found on Pinterest, I couldn’t ask for a better brekky.

I served this as part of a lovely Breakfast for Dinner on Friday and again when I had a guest visiting from Chicago the morning after. It’s going to be made quite frequently until I get sick of Nutella (which will never happen).

I won’t bore you with details, and just get to the pretty pictures and how to put it together!

Ingredients:

Batter:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c milk
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Toast:

  • Challah Bread (I used Trader Joe’s)
  • Butter to melt before putting it in the pan

Fixings:

  • Nutella
  • Strawberries
  • Marscapone Cheese

The finished product- get excited!

French toast batter - in only the best bowl ever. Whisk together the batter ingredients, and dip bread with crust cut off so the bread gets drenched, but not saturated.
