After a few teary-eyed conversations and an in-depth discussion of the ‘What Should Sarah Do?’ powerpoint I made, I have come to a decision.
I’m moving to Boston in June!
I plan on finding a summer sublet with two friends of mine, living on dreams and Spaghetti-O’s in a cramped apartment just like Martina McBride talks about in This One’s For the Girls. Hopefully having a local address will help me get call-backs from interviews because they will know I’m serious about being in Boston. But, until they do, I hope to get a part-time job and a paying internship so that I have something to do, and some income trickling in.
Although its nerve-wracking to leave my comfort zone and go to Boston without a full-time job, I’m excited that I’ve made a decision and are moving in some sort of direction. We’ve started looking at places to live (which is REALLY addicting by the way) and I have a more concentrated effort in my job search.
And best of all, I at least have some semblance of an answer to the question, “What are you doing after Graduation?”
Can’t wait to have you back in NE!!!!
u are one special daughter thank u for being sarah
