How to Make Your Desk Feel a Little More Like Home

We all know we spend a lot of time in our at work sitting down- so why not make the time we spend there a little more enjoyable? I’m not talking about taking coffee breaks with friends or exercises to make keep your blood circulating, but a little desk decor.

Here’s a few recommendations I have for sprucing up your desk space:

Personal Calendar

I had a calendar made for the next year with big pictures of friends and family for each of the months. They have many options, but I chose one of the more colorful ones! Also notice the Villanova mug and peanut butter jar- have to have snacks just like home! Beautiful Organization

Everyone knows I love my organization. So instead of using the standard manila folders we have at work, I went a little crazy at Paper Source and bought ones to keep at my desk. Another (less expensive) option would have been a little D-I-Y project using manila folders and some markers or craft stamps to create a pattern of your own. Pictures & Artwork

Not only does my calendar have pictures, but I included a great one of the fam and a few cards from friends to also keep at work. That giraffe in the corner is a true Sarah Mitus masterpiece from my college watercolors class collection- who knew that class would come in so handy?

I hope my desk inspires you to get creative with what you can do in such a small space!  Please leave a comment below with your ideas for desk decor!
