No Man is a Failure Who Has Friends

It’s a Wonderful Life is arguably one of the best movies ever made, but do we remember the wise ways of Clarence out of the Holiday Season?

Good thing I’m here to remind you.

George Bailey and Clarence show us that no matter how crappy our job is (or if we don’t have a  job at all), how exhausted our brains are, or how frustrating our lives can be, no man is a failure who has friends.

In business, this boils down to the fact that people do business with people they like. Asking how the kids are or trying to find common ground with a client isn’t just good business sense, it will actually make your work life more enjoyable. When you make connections in business and form mutually profitable relationships you are able to reap rewards for your business and for your personal well-being.

So call up an old friend today, or better yet, make a new one. 🙂
